Bachelor’s Degree in
Social Work or related field plus one year of experience in working
with children and families. Related fields are limited to sociology,
psychology, counseling, criminal justice, education, divinity, or
public health administration. Must meet eligibility under Pennsylvania
Child Abuse, State Police Clearance, and FBI Clearance criteria.
Coordinator is responsible for preparing and facilitating adoptions
for children and families contracted for service through the
Philadelphia Department of Human Services and the State Wide adoption
network. The adoption coordinator is under the direct supervision of
the adoption supervisor.
• Learns, understands, accepts and implements
agency policy, applicable laws and regulations.

interagency, county and SWAN meetings and trainings.
